Oberstaufen also has suitable offers for tour fans.

Cross country skiing

Cross-country skiing enthusiasts have 100 kilometers of groomed trails at their disposal, some of which are floodlit.
Especially varied and even a challenge for fitness miracles is the 50 km long stretch from Alpsee to Waldsee. Here you glide over the fantastic Allgäuer hilly landscape.

Winter hiking and snowshoeing

60 kilometers of cleared or rolled hiking trails are available. Decide for yourself:
Panoramic tours or snowshoe hiking for everyone, at the end the hut fun awaits you in one of the traditional mountain huts.

Sledding by day and night

  • Toboggan run at the Imberg
Family fun guaranteed, tobogganing on the Imberg is a joy for young and old. With sledges rented at the valley station, it is free of charge with your guest card up to 1,225 meters, where the slope begins.
Even at night, if the weather is right, the slope is illuminated every Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and of course the Bergbeiz invites you to a cosy get-together.
  • Toboggan run on the Hochgrat
As a special treat for the discerning, Oberstaufen organizes a six-kilometer-long sled run from the Hochgrat, usually at full moon.
